Measuring 70v Wiring for Impedance

         To know if the wiring of your sound system is sound. You will need a multi-meter or impedance meter. Set it to the Ohm symbol Ω. Then connect both the leads to the ends of the speaker wires that go back to the amp. The range will be anywhere from 0-8. As long as it measures not over 8 on most sound systems you know the wiring itself is most likely good.
